PESTA BUKU - PWTC - 26 APRIL 2009

We decided to visit the Pesta Buku yesterday, after Hishamudin Rais announced in his blog that he will be there to promote his book...he he he, but the timing was off, we went there earlier, Isham was only around from 3.00 to 5.00.

Anyway, that's not the main purpose we go there of course, we just only want to find good books to read.

Once we walk out from the Putra Commuter Station, we could see cars and busses parked along the road..I guess we made a right decision not to drive but to take the train instead.

There were so many visitors that made it almost impossible for us to browse and enjoy the books. But still, we did buy four books (all religous book). I bought one on Cerita Rasul2 (to refresh my memory), another one on Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz (Lim Guan Eng has read, so I just think I should/must myself) and I have forgotten the title of the other two..

I have again sprain my big leg, this time it's the right leg. It was painful but alhamdulillah I still could get up and walk and come to work today!

This was actually written earlier, but I guess rather than to delete and waste, maybe it is best to post it anyway...eventhough it may not be so timely (statistically speaking)

I am at the office, but since I'm feeling a little bit sleepy, I decided to write something..but what thing...hmmmm

It's Friday and if not tonight, I'll be going back to Chemor tomorrow. It's my monthly visit, to give opah some money, to do some marketing and...maybe to take opah out.

We will have to stop by at Kuala Kubu to visit Atikah on Sunday, this time I'll make sure I have some food with me..he he..sian Ika,Cikbib bawa perut sendiri aja. I have also bought the things Ika asked me to buy, some special soap (for her skin), lip gloss (hooo) and.. that's all actually but I decided to buy for her Johnson & Johnson perfume.

I am driving nowadays so I am less stressed (but more money to spend). I have this book which I kept for the purpose of recording my daily meal intake (my slimming journal)..but lately the book is used to culcalate my income and expenditure, as to make sure I have enough for my daily life and also my LOAN!!

Recently, after coming back from Singapore, I told my husband that I feel a little tired and is a little bit lazy to work, and Shuk has simply warned me that I better work hard again because the total amount of loan that I have to pay is $450,000.00, and that is almost half a million. Tulonnnn!!

I have taken some pictures on the day I sent Ika to PLKN. Photos were taken at Shah Alam's stadium.

Ika was okay, cool. She did not shed a tear..only I did.. he he..I was just imagining if Yong was there.. I think she would be very worried.

Mek Yah and I went to visit Ika on 28 March. We were so hungry but we did not prepare anything. Fortunately, one of Ika's friend's parents invited us to join them for lunch and we (muka tak malu), simply hantam saja...lega...alhamdulillah.

I called Ika yesterday and she was on duty (she was the receptionist). She asked me to buy for her a few things..maybe I shall drop by on my way back from Chemor next week.

The Wedding

I have never actually enjoyed any wedding event before my own wedding day. Only at the age of 36 I realised how enjoyable and important a wedding should be. Everybody will be around doing activities together. Kenduri held in our side of family should be more fun since we have less thing to do. Everything is being outsourced and the only thing that we need to do is simply sit and do little and enjoyable things like preparing the room, door gifts etc.

Eversince my wedding I have been looking forward for my nieces' & nephews' wedding. I look forward to attend the engagement day, or the day where all of us would go and pinang anak dara orang lain...I have attended one on my husband side and have always looking forward for my side to happen...

I have imagined giving assistance in anything like choosing the cadar, bunga telur etc and I guess finally it has happenned recently, in it's very own way.

I must congratulate Kakak, Abang Hatta and of course Abang Hatta's family to make the event smooth and 'memorable' one. Except for the weather (how could we control this)...everything went as planned and I must say Fizah look extremely happy ... Fatihah and twins are as cheerful as ever but unfortunately Ari was not around...(cian Ari...)

During the kenduri I have really lost my strength to avoid food.. everything was delicious, the gulai nenas,sambal belacan, ikan masin, ayam bakar & the delicious kuah asam, rendang tok and not forgetting the dessert...he he he...mek yah pun makan banyak gak kan? I still remember the taste of the black coffee during the night...

And...for my other nieces & nephews...in case you don't know, your acik bib here is really looking forward for the day of your wedding...let us meet again in...maybe Anis's...yes!

Langkawi Trip - 2

Langkawi trip part 2 : I just have this urge to update my blog today, now...so here I am.

We checked out from our Hotel (LPP) at around 9.00 am. We went for breakfast and headed off to Gunung Mat Cincang.

We did stop at two shops selling Gamat products though. A short visit became a long one since Abang Hatta, Kakak and Opah befriended the shop owner and had a political chat...then they got discount, so I guess it was worth it.

The journey continued and during the journey Kakak was having this doubt on whether or not to take the cable write. I prayed she would and yes, my prayer was granted, alhamdulillah.

All of us went for the cable ride and it was a lot of fun!!

The weather was soooo hot. Once we came back we stopped at the cenderamata shop where opah bought almost 5 fridge magnet. While waiting, Shuk, Fatihah, Ifwat and me bought some ice cream and rojak buah. Then we decided to visiti the deers and after that we finally decided to go for lunch.

We found out that the aircond, the one at the back of the van we rent was not working and due to this, the two chilren who sat at the back of the van, Tiha & Ifwat were suffering...he he...I heard Ifwat was telling Fatiha that he would want to go straight to sleep once we reached the hotel, he must be damn tired.

We ate at the same place for lunch, Shuk ordered the same ais kacang. We have ordered the same ikan bakar. Fatiha must be really tired that she refused to eat (strange??). Even Ifwat could not finish his share (even stranger?)..he he . After that we went to search for TNB bungalow which is located at Pantai Tengah.

We love the TNB Bungalow. It is located near the sea and is spacious. Once we reached the place and settled down, the adults all decided to take a nap...

At around 4.30 pm I woke up and found that the house was in complete silence. I assume that everybody is asleep (shuk was sleeping at the balcony). About 5.00 o'clock kakak woke up and asked where's Fatiha...I thought she's sleeping with you...jeng jeng, apparently both Fatiha and Ifwat were missing.

I woke Shuk up and asked whether he has seen the children..but no, he was fast asleep himself.

We were a little panic but we are pretty sure they went to the beach and therefore all of us decided to go to the beach (except opah, she was still sleeping). Ifwat and Fatiha were at the beach...there were not so many people so we decided to join them and yes, we had a lot of fun.

We went back to the bungalow and around 7.00 and it was raining...I was so happy to be able to mandi laut and mandi hujan at the same time.

At night for dinner at around 9.00. Since Ifwat and Fatiha requested for chicken chop, we went around for a stall that sell chicken chop.

Apparently after dinner, everybody was tired and decided to retire early for the night except the two children. I have no idea what they were doing but when I woke up for my subuh prayer the next morning, both were sleeping on the sofas...

Everybody went for another round of mandi laut the next morning except for Shuk and I..we continue sleeping. We checked out at around 11 since we booked the 12.30 ferry.

Our plan to do some shopping at the jetty was limited to less than half an hour session since we only reached the jetty at around 11.45. I bought some chocolates for Mek Yah and Shuk bought some for her adik.

Everyone was quite during the ferry ride. I was feeling rather sad since the holiday is going to end....

Happy Birthday Shuk

Yesterday was Shuk's birthday...Shuk turned 45..don't worry, you look very young lah, with moustache and all,...

we did not really celebrate but I have cooked his favourite dish, siakap sweet sour and sup sayur...everything was finished up so I assume my cooking was superb..kih kih kih..

I'll buy your birthday present later ye..Happy Birtday and May Allah bless you always..luy ya

SURPRISE!!!

Huwa Huwa Huwa..After our dinner and shopping session in Langkawi, Shukri has suprised me with a birthday gift..uwaaaa...Shuk bought perfume..according to him it is a lot cheaper in Langkawi..Thank you Shuk...nanti birtday Shuk pun saya beli yang belated gak ye...
